Interning at Wooldridge has made me even more excited to pursue a career in law. I was able to experience the day-to-day life of an attorney. I think I will continue to use the knowledge I gained here to further a career in the legal field. As a criminal justice and psychology major. I believe being at Wooldridge has shown a lot of similarities in what I am learning in classes. From trying to see why a juror may feel one way toward a case to understanding due process, I have learned so much in both places. Education-wise, I am very glad to have some sort of knowledge of the criminal justice process because I felt like it helped me a bit more to understand what everyone was talking about. I enjoyed being at the firm. I always told my family, “This is where I am destined to be, I am so happy that this is my future.” Seeing what my everyday life may consist of, and really enjoying it, made me even more ready to start my future. My biggest struggle was often showing up; I have a lot going on in my life, so it was often hard to be there every day I had originally discussed. However, my supervisor was always very understanding. I know that others may not be as understanding in the future, so I need to work on my availability. For future interns, take in all the information you are given. Everything you are introduced to is going to benefit you in your career. Have faith in yourself and be proud of yourself. You are one step closer to your future!

It's the little things in career development- I'm glad your email signature made you so excited (I remember that feeling too)! I think that the fact that you learned that you need to work on your schedule moving forward is a big win! Good job! It's meant to be a learning experience!
