I had the pleasure to intern for The Love Yourself Foundation this spring semester. I worked as an event coordinator. I had the opportunity to work with many other talented people. while working there I learned the behind the scenes to planning events. From contacting vendors to creating flyers, it taught me that there is more to event planning than I realized. The staff was easy to work with and connect on may platforms. I do believe that to be successful in this internship you need to have communications skills, organization and time management. I had a huge passion for this internship because it related a lot with my field of study. when I graduate from college I want to become a therapist so working for a foundation that prompts metal health was so beneficial and inspiring. I also had the a pleasure of attending a workshop on campus at UNLV. This workshop was a two day workshop dedicated to a conversation about the relationship between conflict and ;eadership in the working environment. I found this workshop to be so helpful to for my future, having been a part of the work place I had faced issues but this taught how to handle situations correctly. Both these experiences have helped me learn so for my future, as I am about to be a senior I am so glad to have these experiences under my belt and to use them in future situations.
