My internship at the Restore Behavioral Health clinic has benefited me for my future career by allowing me to work in a clinical base, setting with patients, and learn about psychological testing to become a clinical psychologist. I have learned the challenges of becoming a clinical psychologist and maintaining a professional demeanor, even during difficult times. This will benefit me in the future by allowing me to maintain a professional manner in a privacy setting maintaining HIPAA laws, clinical care guides for the community, and crisis protocols during dire situations. Everything I am learning at my internship ties into my major in psychology. Working in this clinical base atmosphere is exactly the type of career I want to go into. If I had to guess what educational requirements I needed beforehand in order to be successful at my internship it would probably be communication skills and social skills. I have enjoyed everything I have experienced at my internship so far. I have been trained to do psychological testing in order to diagnose certain disorders, as well as work with clinical base websites that involve scheduling and organizing patients' information. The majority of my learning at my internship involved, having very good communication with patients providers, and other staff members. By completing my psychology internship program at Restore Behavioral Health, I have done so at the highest level of professionalism at my internship, I have proven my trust, worth, and reliability and established positive relationships with the clinicians' team, members, and patients alike. I have shown my dependability in my work ethic and do so with a critical eye for details. my internship has given me a prominent level of compassion for patients and their needs, and I am diligent in my efforts to step outside of my comfort zone to meet new challenges. In order to secure a full-time position in this field or internship if you choose to pursue it, it is by being able to show tremendous personal growth, ownership, and confidence when given responsibility and administrating in scoring for essential, computerized, psychological testing. My one piece of advice I would have for incoming interns is to have an open mind, and enthusiasm for every opportunity that you were given, it is a great thing to have.

I'm so glad this was a great experience for you! I think this will absolutely set you apart moving forward!
