I have been interning at the Lied memorial boys and girls of Southern Nevada for the past semister. I have been assisting others with programming and managing the club. My major is sociology and soon to be graduating. This internship have guided me on figuring out what I want to achieve in my profession I really loved my experience there.
I have gained lots of skills regarding the job, but moreover I have learned what a grate work environment looks like, such as the power of teamwork, recognizing and valuing what everyone brings to the table, giving attention to little stuff and finding solution before they become big and cause issues. The importance of having purpose is also a big things I have learned, including myself and club members at lied we all have a common purpose and goal to go there, which are the kids, providing for them, guiding, mentoring, giving chances to experience different things and helping them become thier best self are our purposes, with that I feel motivated and encouraged to be there. This internship has also helped me to reflect on my self time after time, it has showed me what things I should work on myself and become better.
