My current internship that I am participating in this summer is with an organization named Save Ancient Studies Alliance. It is a volunteer based organization interested in saving studies that are going by the way-side such as literature, languages, music and more. This internship has benefited my future career by teaching me new communication technologies that are helpful now and will be useful in the future as well. My internship does not tie in directly to my current field of study, however the business running portion of it will be of value in the business tasks in the future for my business. I believe that this internship would be good to take at a junior level after getting through intro classes. I will not be moving in the direction of this internships career path, however I will be utilizing it's best practices in my future career. This internship only takes on volunteers at this time and is not a career I would choose for myself. I think this field of volunteers could be open to any who choose to volunteer even without a college degree, although technology, business and history would be helpful. My advice to future interns would be to apply to internships as early as possible and go for something in your career path. I would recommend this particular internship as the people are smart, helpful, and very diverse in nature especially in location. There are interns participating in this project from all over the world. What a way to expand horizons!

Hi Alynn, This internship sounds very interesting . I actually like that this internship is not within your career and you still got to learn and gain something from it that ties into certain things in your career because that is kind of how I felt with my internship as well.
