Community Outreach Intern

Administrative Tasks: include preparing items for our field staff (putting together PPE bags), helping our Human Resource putting together staff/volunteer/intern appreciation events, filing and calling potential employee candidates

Generate Contact for Social Media/Generate informational material for inside/outside the organization: create flyers seeking volunteers, advertising events and staff/volunteer/intern appreciate post

Plan, host, and organize outreach events: help brainstorm ideas for veteran socials/cafe and help setup and during event

Social Butterfly: Provide companionship and socialization for patients who do not have loved ones to spend quality time with

Respite Relief: offer caregivers a break from taking are of their loved ones to prevent caregiver fatigue

Supper Club: calling hospice patients to see if they are n needed of any supplies to make sure their needs are met.
Requirements: Ability to meet deadlines, Communication skills, Creative thinking, Good work ethic, Interpersonal skills, Professionalism, Canva and Microsoft skills are encouraged
