The intern will assist the food pantry coordinator with managing/recruiting volunteers and maintaining healthy working relationships with those who support the pantry. The intern will engage with potential food rescue sites to build stronger community bonds and secure viable food donations. They will also assist with marketing to make more people aware of what the food pantry offers and planning on campus events to increase community engagement.
Position Description
The UNLV Food Pantry is a year-round resource that provides perishable and non-perishable food items to students, staff, and faculty who need additional support.
